Jimi Hendrix

Jimi Hendrix was born in Lexington South Carolina. He started in music at a young age taking violin lessons at age 4.  He switched to trumpet at age 10 and played trumpet from 5th grade all through high school. He plucked his first bass string when he was 17 and instantly fell in love. After high school, he attended Winthrop University graduating with Degrees in Music (studied Voice, Bass) and communication disorders (speech pathology). Upon graduation he was invited to join an Opera company, but decided to pursue his career in music and moved to Nashville.  He joined the Adam Craig Band in 2006.

An avid outdoorsman, Jimi enjoys hunting and fishing and has a passion for Archery.
